There are about a half-dozen countries that have enacted some form of official "do not call" registry and many others that have signed in laws to prevent various types of spammy behavior from running rampant over the telephone system. Unfortunately, little to nothing is done to enforce these laws and the penalties usually arent steep enough to discourage bad behavior. Google is taking matters into its own hands and giving users a way to fight back.

Google Play Music Still Requires Flash
I uninstalled Flash Player on my computer, now that most sites no longer need it. Adobes Flash Player is still bundled with Chrome, so I had to disable it from the chrome://plugins/ page.
One of the only Google services that still requires Flash is Google Play Music, but only if you dont use Chrome or Internet Explorer 11. I tried opening Google Play Music in Firefox and Safari and got this message: "Missing Flash Player. You need the latest Adobe Flash Player to listen to music."
Theres actually a Lab experiment called "HTML5 audio" in the settings and its grayed out and disabled. It claims that it allows you to "listen to your music without the need for Flash. Support for this lab is still experimental, and it may not work in all cases," informs the description.
Well, it looks like the Lab experiment only works in Chrome, not in other browsers. Its hard to tell why HTML5 audio is still an experiment and not a regular feature that works in all browsers. YouTubes HTML5 player works well in most browsers and Google Play Music uses the same back-end.

•We will be using TWRP Recovery for this tutorial.
•Bootloader should be unlocked.
•This tutorial will wipe out all your data. Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.
•Perform a Dalvik Cache wipe before proceeding from the Recovery Mode.

÷ How to Install Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Slim6 ROM on HTC One (M9)
Step 1 – Download Android 6.0.1 Slim6 ROM for One M9 to your computer and extract boot.img from the zip file separately.
Step 2 – Connect and mount your One M9 USB memory to your computer using the USB cable.
Step 3 – Now copy/paste the downloaded Android 6.0.1 ROM zip file to your phone memory / SD card. Make sure the file is in the phone memory / SD card root (not in any folder).
Step 4 – Copy/paste the boot.img file to android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory.
Step 5 – Then turn OFF your phone and disconnect from the USB cable.
Step 6 – Now to get in the Bootloader/Fastboot Mode. Turn ON the phone while pressing and holding the Volume Down + Power buttons.
Step 7 – Once in the Fastboot mode (on your phone), navigate to android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory (on your computer) and open Command Prompt (Shift + Right-click > Open Command Prompt).
Step 8 – Type the following command and press Enter.
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Step 9 – Then, type the following command and press Enter.
fastboot reboot
Step 10 – Follow the navigation instructions on the screen. Select BOOTLOADER and then go to RECOVERY.
Step 11 – Once you are in TWRP Recovery, perform a full data wipe by tapping on the ‘Wipe’ button. Then swipe on the “Swipe to Factory Reset” option at the bottom.
Step 12 – Now go back to the main menu and then tap on the ‘Install’ button. From the list, choose the ZIP file that you copied to your phone memory in Step 3.
Step 13 – Confirm installation on the next screen by swiping on the “Swipe to Confirm Flash” option. The installation procedure should start now.
Step 14 – Once the installation is completed.
Step 15 – Tap on the “Wipe cache/dalvik” button if you get into any boot loops or other issues.
Step 16 – You can now reboot your phone by selecting the “Reboot System” button.
Your HTC One M9 will boot now and it might take about 5 minutes to boot on your first time after flashing a new ROM. So, please wait.

Como suelo hacer todos los meses, antes de que acabe el mes os traigo un adelanto de los eventos, cursos y conferencias en los que voy a participar yo, alguno de mis compañeros de Eleven Paths o apoyamos desde 0xWord. A lo largo del mes suele ir habiendo modificaciones de fechas, lugares o agenda, por lo que este mismo artículo lo iré actualizando según tenga la información disponible. Esto es lo que a día de hoy tengo en el radar.

RSA Conference - San Francisco
Este lunes que viene da comienzo la RSA Conference en San Francisco. Yo estaré allí con la delegación de Telefónica - Eleven Paths, donde además hemos conseguido por primera vez un pequeño booth para poder tener un punto de referencia de todos. Además, participaré en un par de eventos por los que me pasaré. El evento de ICEX y el organizado por Dtex. Luego, ya sabéis, cenas, reuniones y demás actividades para aprovechar el punto de contacto a nivel mundial que es la RSA Conference.
RootedCON - Madrid
Al mismo tiempo que tiene lugar la RSA Conference, tiene lugar en Madrid una nueva edición de la RootedCON que en esta ocasión será en los Cines Kinépolis de la Ciudad de la Imagen. Yo voy a dar una charla con mi compañero Pablo González sobre un tema con el que hemos estado jugando este mes, así que espero que os guste lo que os hemos preparado.

Regreso el viernes por la tarde de San Francisco para dar la charla el sábado por la tarde en el día de cierre del evento. Habrá stand de 0xWord allí, así que si quieres un libro, puedes reservarlo y recogerlo allí poniéndote en contacto por correo en info @ 0xWord.com.
KeyNote en Infarma - Madrid
El día 9 de Marzo, en el evento de Infarma, me han invitado a dar una conferencia sobre estafas en Intentet, así que aprovecharé para hablar de la "magia". El evento tiene lugar en IFEMA y tienes toda la información en la web: Infarma 2016.
Como ya os anuncié, durante el mes de marzo continúan las charlas del Ciclo de conferencias TASSI en la ETSISI de la UPM en Madrid. Las que caen durante el mes de Marzo son las siguientes.
